Child-Safety Standards
Cadence has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains our standards and how to report a concern.

Zero tolerance
Cadence is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Any account found to belong to, impersonate, or target a minor is removed immediately. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content sexualising minors is never tolerated in any form, and will result in an immediate, permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities.
How we prevent it
Date-of-birth is required at signup and accounts under 18 are rejected. Uploaded photos are automatically screened by our moderation system before they appear on a profile. Every profile, photo, and message can be reported in one tap — the report menu includes a dedicated "May be under 18" reason.
Reporting a concern
If you see an account you believe belongs to a minor, or any content involving child exploitation, use the report menu on that profile, photo, or message and select the relevant reason — reports reach our moderation team immediately and are prioritised for review. You can also use Contact Support in Settings.
Our response process
Reports involving suspected CSAM are escalated immediately: the content and account are removed from user-facing surfaces, the account is suspended pending review, and — where the content meets the legal definition of CSAM — it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline, and to An Garda Síochána and/or other relevant law enforcement, as legally required. We preserve the minimum evidence necessary for that report and do not otherwise retain or re-view the content.

Our child-safety point of contact can be reached through Contact Support in Settings, or by emailing cadencedating@gmail.com. This inbox is monitored and reports are actioned as a priority.
External resources
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. NCMEC's CyberTipline accepts reports of suspected child exploitation directly from the public. In Ireland, concerns can also be raised with Tusla, the Child and Family Agency.
